In Black Witch's Grimoire you play as a fledgling Witch who has turned to the magical arts, and a new Coven of Witches, to escape their past. But, magic is not without sacrifice, and the Coven may yet succumb to the pain that surrounds it.

All of this will be documented in your Grimoire; a journal, diary, spellbook, and narrative document. Through writing in your Grimoire you will establish facts about yourself, your Coven, and the world you inhabit.

But the story is not entirely within your control. Following the prompts in the game will lead you down a path of hard choices and potentially deadly consequences in your journey to overcome your past. This journey is not entirely constrained to a single character or the fictional game world. You will also need to write entries from the perspective of various NPCs and participate in the practices in the real world.
